Christmas spirit at Sigtuna Museum

Just in time for the first and second Advent, Sigtuna Museum raises the Christmas spirit with sweet and tasty pastries at Café Lilla Fördärfvet. The café opens up with home-baked cookies in 17th century surroundings during special traditions and occasions, such as the Christmas market.

Take the opportunity to visit one of Sigtuna jewels and enjoy homemade buns in a warm atmosphere.

The Christmas tree in the Lundström home is beautifully adorned with homemade decorations, dating from the 17th century. Beautiful garlands hang from the ceiling and the table is set up with coffee and cookies. You can almost feel the scents and flavors of family Lundström Christmas celebrations a hundred years ago. Visit the former Lundström home, where things have been intouched since the property was turned into a museum in 1958.

Don’t miss the beautiful winter pictures of Sigtuna which can be viewed on the web exhibition Network of Museums in the Baltic. The exhibition is available at: http://balticmuseums.ning.com/page/sigtuna
