SIGTUNAHÖJDEN AFFECTED BY FIRE 2013-01-09
Sigtunahöjden has suffered a violent fire with great material damage. The fire was discovered yesterday evening just before at. 19.00. No guests or staff were there when the buildings.

Sigtunahöjden is Sweden's international meeting place. Here guests from all over the world meet daily in a cosmopolitan atmosphere. International is the focus at Sigtunahöjden combined with limitless hospitality. This also characterizes our activities, interior, award-winning cuisine and much more besides. With its wonderful panorama view over Lake Mälaren it's difficult to believe that Sigtunahöjden lies only 15 minutes from Stockholm Arlanda Airport and is located midway between Stockholm and Uppsala. With our well-equipped meeting rooms, we can offer highly effective meetings in a truly international environment.
Our rooms are terraced down the hillside with a panoramic view of Lake Mälaren. We have 29 doubles, 69 singles, 16 meetingrooms and a restaurant that seats 160 people. The décor varies to enhance our international character. You find all of our rooms along different well known streets.
There is wireless internet access everywhere within the facility. Privately owned Sigtunahöjden is labeled with the Nordic Ecolabel and is climate neutral and a member of Svenska Möten, IACC Sweden and Destination Sigtuna.
