Sigtuna Christmas market 2013
As Christmas slowly approaches, Sigtuna lights up with Christmas spirit from the past. The traditional Christmas Market in Sigtuna has something to offer for the whole family!
Sigtuna’s Christmas market is an open-air market with Christmas items, handicraft, traditional Swedish food items and much more.
Enjoy live music, Lucia celebration and a visit from Santa himself. The Christmas market takes place all along the main street and at the Main Square and Little Square.
This year the Christmas market occurs on the 24/11, 1/12, 8/12, and 15/12 at 11 AM to 16 PM.
Sigtuna's cafes, restaurants and shops are all open during the same hours.
Free admission and free parking all market days. SL card goes all the way from Stockholm to Sigtuna Christmas Market.

Sunday 25th November
Crowning of the Sigtuna Lucia candidates of 2012 on the main square.
Sunday the 2nd of December
Traditional Christmas market 11 AM – 4 PM
11 AM - 4 PM Christmas market at Sigtuna Kulturgård.
11 AM – 4PM Christmas at Sigtuna Museum. Café Fördärfvet is open.
11 AM - 4 PM Lion’s flea market with books
12 AM - 2 PM Father Christmas visits Drakegården (Tourist office) to collect children's wish lists.
1 PM – 2 PM Author Åke Ekdahl signs his book Mata fåglar vid ditt fönster at Sigtuna Bookshop.
2 PM Dance around the Christmas tree, Stora torget.
Sunday the 9th of December
Traditional Christmas market 11 AM – 4 PM
11 AM - 4 PM Coffee and tea is being served at Sockenstugan, Sigtuna Hembygdsförening.
11 AM - 4 PM Christmas market at Sigtuna Kulturgård.
11 AM - 4 PM Lion’s flea market with books
12 AM - 2 PM Father Christmas visits Drakegården (the Tourist office) to collect children's wish lists.
1 PM – 2 PM Author Alexandra Charles signs her book Kalenderflickorna at Sigtuna Bookshop.
2 PM Dance around the Christmas tree, Stora torget.
3.30 PM Traditional Saint Lucia procession from the Small Square to the Main Square

Traditional Christmas market 11 AM – 4 PM
11 PM – 4 PM Christmas market at Sigtuna Kulturgård.

12.30 PM Little Christmas Choir at the Main Square.
1 PM Price ceremony where the winner of Stora Brännbo Conference och Hotel's Christmas tree competition is being crowned.
