Summer boats to Sigtuna

This summer will be perfect for anyone wishing to take a ferry to Sigtuna, Skokloster and Birka. Strömma will once again traffic the popular route Stockholm – Sigtuna – Skokloster and Stockholm-Rosersberg’s Palace. Rederi Mälarstaden will traffic cruises from Sigtuna to Birka, Taxinge Castle and Mariefred.

Lake Mälaren Cruise from Stockholm to Rosersberg

Strömma continues to traffic last summer’s success route to the beautiful and most best kept secret among Sweden’s royal palaces – Roserberg’s Palace. During the period July 1 until August 13, Wednesdays-Sundays, you can go to Rosersberg by boat.

The boat departs from Stadshusbron in Stockholm.

The route ’Mälarens kungsled’ Stockholm – Sigtuna – Skokloster

Strömma operates Wednesdays – Sundays during the period July 1 to August 13. The boat departs from Stadshusbron at 10.00 and arrives at 12.30 in Sigtuna and 13.30 in Skokloster. Departure from Skokloster at 15.15, arrival in Sigtuna 16.15 and Stadshusbron in Stockholm 18.45.

From Sigtuna

Sigtuna-Birka, Sigtuna-Taxinge Castle and Mariefred

Rederi Mälarstaden have Sigtuna as it’s home port and will be operating different tours during the period June-August.

Sigtuna-Birka
Season: June 27 – August 15.
On Tuesdays the boat departs for a return trip from Sigtuna to the Viking town Birka. The boat departs at 10.00 from Sigtuna and arrives in Birka 12.20. Return trip at 15.10, arrival in Sigtuna at 17.45.

Sigtuna-Taxinge Castle
Season: June 28 – August 16.
On Wednesdays the boat traffics Sigtuna-Taxinge Castle round trip. The boat departs at 09.00 AM from Sigtuna and arrives 11.50 AM at Taxinge Castle.
The boat departs from Taxinge at 02.30 PM with an arrival time in Sigtuna at 05.30 PM.

Sigtuna-Mariefred
Season: June 28 – August 16.
On Wednesdays the boat departs at 9.00 AM from Sigtuna for a return trip from Mariefred. Arrival time in Mariefred at 12.20 o’clock in Mariefred.
The boat departs from Mariefred at 02.10 PM with an arrival time in Sigtuna at 05.30 PM.

Seafood cruise from the steamboat pier in Sigtuna

Enjoy sweet music from a minstrel, delicious shrimps and Swedish summer by the Malar lake. M/S Sjösaga provides you with 3 saloons with window seats and a sundeck suitable for mingle, relaxation and lake views.

The boat will depart from the steamboat pier in Sigtuna on Mondays during the period May 29 – September 4. M/S Sjösaga departs at 07 PM from the pier and returns at 10 PM.

Uppsala-Skokloster castle

M/S Kung Carl-Gustav will be operating the route during May-September, Thursday – Sunday with both daytime and evening trips. During May and September, the boat will only operate on Saturdays. You can enjoy a tasty lunch buffet and other snacks onboard.

Enjoy the world’s oldest passenger ship to Uppsala-Skokloster castle

Strömmas’ boat M/S Enköping is the world’s oldest passenger ship and it operates to Skokloster from Uppsala during July 1 to August 13.

From Västerås and Enköping

Rederi Mälarstaden operate cruises to Sigtuna from Västerås and Enköping on Mondays during the period June 26 and August 14.

The boat departs from Västerås at 10.00 AM, via Enköping/Koffsan at 11.45 AM and thereafter arrives in Sigtuna at 02.45 PM. The return trip by bus will depart at 05.30 PM from the steamboat pier in Sigtuna and will arrive in Enköping/Koffsan at 06.15 PM and Västerås at 06.45 PM.
