Next week, Sigtuna municipality has half term break/winter holiday – a holiday for all school children to have time from school and do sports. In Sigtuna, there are plenty of options of what to do during this week for all ages and interests.
Midgårdsbadet in Märsta – Public Bath
Midgårdsbadet is open 6.30 am – 9.30 pm weekdays and 9 am-8 pm during the weekend. Food can be purchased in the food court and/or café.
Swimming at Sigtuna Fritidscenter – Sigtuna Leisure Centre

Konsthall Märsta – Art Gallery
During the holiday, Märsta Konsthall will arrange a creative studio for children of all ages. Children younger than 8 years have to be accompanied by an adult. Be inspired by the ongoing colourful costume design exhibiton and create your own creations in different colors and materials. All weekdays 11 am-3 pm, free entrance.
Sigtuna Museum and Art
Welcome to experience the new historic exhibition Sigtuna Stories and visit the drop-in-studio on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at noon-4 pm. Sigtuna’s downhill slope
Enjoy alpine skiing in Sigtuna! The ski slope Humbacken will be open if the weather conditions are good. If you don’t ski, bring your toboggan and sledge down the closeby hill for sledging. Daily ski pass: 50 SEK/day for members and 100 SEK/day for non-members. Skokloster’s Castle, February 23-28
The beautiful baroque castle Skokloster will be open during this holiday. Bring your warmest clothes and explore the castle’s well-kept secrets with your family. Enjoy a guided tour in the light of a flashlight. Eat delicious waffles in the castle’s café and walk the Castle Safari – a tricky quiz for children. Wenngarn offers plenty of options during the winter holiday. If the weather is good, you can go ice-skating and build your own snowball lantern. Regardless of the weather, Wenngarn Castle will organize a guided tour of the castle (free of charge) Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm. Vikingahallen – Sports Hall in Märsta
